Every day Tim tells me about Lilah’s sunbathing adventures…and her refusal to come in on potty breaks. I tell him he just isn’t being “firm” enough with her….he documented the evidence today. That is her patented rub-my-belly-I’m-gonna-do-what-I-want pose 😜🤣 Angel above - last year I braced for impact leading up to the anniversary of today. Five years seemed like it was gonna hit like a semi. Little did I know that I’d get through that day but it would be today, six years to the very day of the week you left us, that I would wake up with my head so in a mess and my heart hurting more than it has in a long time. I haven’t stopped crying all morning. Not sure why it still surprises me the waves of the ocean that grief is after all these years but here I am. 16 plant babies got upgrades this morning! ❤️ Oh yah….turning my cucumbers into pickles this morning ❤️ Garden evenings… ❤️ When you need fortification for the day more than you need to be at your desk first for a change. 😜 Someone missed her mama ❤️ Charlie, classic percolator or wine chiller…You decide? Wouldn’t be a trip to Lubbock without stocking up on @kellebjammin goodies. A board tonight with some Pear Fennel Apple Chutney, a good wine, and family time was a good end to the weekend. ❤️ Pre-GF Blueberry Cake Donuts were my fav….I don’t often “miss” foods anymore as I’ve adjusted to eating the way my body needs me to. But there is a local donut shop here that makes gluten free donuts. Couldn’t resist getting these Blueberry GF donuts this morning…craving satisfied for a while and oh so good! Proof you can grow anything in pots. Anything. That’s an ear of corn! 😳🤗 My city boy helping in the garden ❤️ GF pasta with garden fresh spinach and squash. And pancetta, onion, cherry tomato, and white wine. Yum. Today’s game is garden “I Spy”. What is left of my very first harvested squash of the season after my big dumb dog decided it was a dog toy she needed to chew on 🥺🥺🥺
